Every Xparalia sculpture is handmade using skin-safe platinum cure silicone.

Your shell is 100% phthalate-free and latex-free. We use a strict production process to ensure all products are ready for intimate use. Because they are cast by hand from real shells, each sculpture has an intricate texture, but the material is non-porous. Occasionally, small surface bubbles result from the casting process. 

Selected for its softness and strength, our silicone mimics the ~give~ of organic tissue while maintaining the rigidity needed to capture the fine details of the original shell. 

 

care protocol

Your sculpture is designed to last if treated with care. Wash it upon arrival, as it may have picked up dust in transit.

Cleaning: Wash between uses with warm water and unscented antibacterial soap. Use hands or a gentle cloth, no scrubbers/abrasives. For toys with vibe inserts (C-Slugs), the C-Slug can be gently removed using a few drops of lube or soapy water and gently working it out of the cavity, then washed separately. (Do not pull open the the vibe cavity, as this can lead to tearing.)

Deep cleaning: For a deeper clean, you may remove the C-Slug and boil your silicone shell in water for 3–5 minutes. Please note that heating a toy can sometimes result in a permanent color changes. 

Storage: Many of our silicones are soft and dewy enough to pick up dust if left out. Rinse and store your piece alone in the provided drawstring bag or another clean, dry space not touching other toys.

Renewing Powder: If you like a more velvety feel, dust your toy lightly with cornstarch for storage after regular cleaning. We carry a 100% cornstarch jar with powder puff for easy dusting if desired.

Charging: Charge your toy with the included cable by pushing the pin into the hole at the very top of your C-Slug (vibe insert). A blinking light means charging; a steady light means fully charged. 

Use water-based lubricants only. Oils can chemically affect the surface of your toy. Do not use silicone lubricants, coconut oil, or petroleum jelly.

If your toy is insertable and it rips to any degree, it should be discarded.

Pigments 

All coloring elements in your toy are certified skin safe pigments and cosmetic-grade mica powers. Every batch of color we produce is unique, and intended to match one of the naturally-occurring color formations in nacre (mother of pearl). Colors may vary slightly from photos or from one toy to the next.

 

Glow

Our glow-in-the-dark toys are infused with high-grade, ultra-fine aluminate powder. This is not a surface coating; the luminescence is suspended inside the silicone through a dual-pour process that embeds the glow inside a sheer shimmer layer. 

To achieve maximum glow, set your piece under a bright LED, UV blacklight, or direct sunlight for 3–5 minutes before use. Storing it by a window will help to keep it activated.
